How I’m Dealing With Back To School

How I’m Dealing With Back To School

After many shopping trips for many things I hadn’t realized I needed…

I’ve got a pretty big collection of a lot of little things going. Starting with clothes (of course!). The tops are from Wet Seal and the jeans are from American Eagle. I’m actually American Eagle’s biggest fan when it comes to their jeans because they are the only ones that fit perfectly- they’re practically a necessity! My legs are too long for my own good, haha.

If you haven’t checked out my Necessities for Blogging & Photography then you should click here. I leave details of what camera & laptop I use- down to my favorite notebooks and favorite resource blogs & books!

“…all I can say is that my stylist did an unbelievable job.”

Okay, okay. I’m not going to spam this post with images of my newest editions to my closet, I’m also going to add my new look? I got my hair done yesterday (by the way does anyone else realize how hard it is to find a salon open on a Sunday???) and all I can say is that my stylist did an unbelievable job. It’s been awhile since I haven’t had my natural hair color in… about 7 years. I’ve been a red head for the longest time! Shout out to @hairbymoran, for telling me about balayage. I’m obsessed!!

So my hair was red..ish. No one is ever really able to describe what color my hair was but NOW IT’S BLONDE…ISH. The picture on the very right shows my natural hair color blending into this really pretty golden blonde. I’m so thankful for my stylist- she really did take the picture I had in mind and made it real! #ultasalon

And then of course my many, many, stops to Barnes and Noble for the books I can’t wait to read.

  1. Blink | Malcolm Gladwell
  2. Emotions Revealed | Paul Ekman
  3. Lullabies | Lang Leav
  4. The Best of Me | Nicholas Sparks
  5. Rebecca | Daphne Du Maurier
  6. Not That Kind of Girl | Lena Dunham
  7. Diary of an Oxygen Thief | Anonymous
  8. The Feast of Love | Charles Baxter
  9. The Days Run Away Like Wild Horses Over the Hills | Charles Bukowski
  10. Look At You Now | Liz Pryor

My in-house library is growing faster than I can read, haha. I’m starting school this week which means I’ll only be doing more shopping BUT for art supplies. I’m excited to share upcoming projects and please excuse my delay in posts! This fall’s schedule leaves me with only one day off and it’s been interesting fitting everything in- but I’m getting there!

See you soon ♥
