Being a Part of Belong Magazine – Wedding / Celebrations Issue
This post is going to be a bit shorter than usual. I don’t want to shareΒ tooΒ much, because I want you to see & read Belong Magazine for yourself!
Firstly, I would like to thank Brooke, the founder of Belong Mag, for allowing me this amazing opportunity.Β Belong isn’t just a magazine, it’s a community of women who help each other. I first picked up my copy of Belong Mag last summer. Issue 04 was a good one, I learned so much about blogging and how to improve myself overall. After reading issue 04, front to cover, I decided to learn more. Of course followed all of their social media and kept updated on where and how I could purchase the next copy.
Finding Belong Magazine
Like any other rational 20 year old, I went and purchased Issue 03, 02, and 01 (not 00 because they sold out π ). I didn’t want to miss anything! After reading Belong’s mission statement, I knew this was THE magazine for me. When I saw that they were working on a wedding issue for the upcoming months (now out in Barnes & Nobles near you) I had to try. If you’ve been following for a bit, you already know that I really don’t like saying no. Some people think this is a death sentence while I think it’s an opportunity worth saying yes to. Let me tell you, it was. I am so proud of myself and all of the other wonderful creators who are a part of this issue. A list of contributors can be found on Belong Magazine’s blog post here.
Being Published
Honestly, it’s kind of surreal to know and see your work printed. Nevertheless in aΒ magazine that you adore. To know that I’m reaching more people and sharing what I’ve learned is one of the best feelings. That’s one of the reasons why I even blog, to share what I’ve learned and how to skip over my mistakes. Ha! I’d like to point out that one of the images in this magazine, (the beautiful hair styled one) is styled & modeled by Colleen Moran. She’s another young & creative mind who inspires me every day. You can be young and have what you want. Please. Just. Work. For. It. I’m telling you, working hard really does pay off.
