Hey there! Coming up with ideas for my bridesmaids has been a whole lot of fun and I’ve been oh so excited to share the details… I haven’t proposed to them yet, but when I do this post is going LIVE because I just can’t wait to share!! If you’re reading this… they’ve all received their boxes!
I started creating in September and it’s been non-stop, all things wedding since. My Maid of Honor said that some brides will gift their bridesmaid proposals for Christmas and I thought that would be the perfect way to surprise everyone.
A lot of these items I’ve created by hand at the studio, but for the pieces I did purchase I will be linking to where I bought them! Interested in one of the personalized items I’ve created? Let me know and we can start working on something for your event or wedding!
After a whole lot of trial and error, I found the perfect way to: formally propose to my bridesmaids, invite them to my engagement party, give contact information of the other bridesmaids, and show them a peak at my wedding colors & aesthetic. The front cover is a silver glitter paper that I printed on using my Canon IP100 printer, and the interior pages are a thick, off-white card stock. To save paper, the booklet is half the size of a US letter page, folded. By hand, I sewed the booklet together with a needle and string. At first I was going to bind the booklet using staples, but it didn’t look just right.
On Pinterest, someone gifted knot bracelets to their Bridesmaids. Immediately I went on Etsy to find something similar for my girls. I purchased these bracelets from Vantage Ways on Etsy. The bracelets come in different colors like gold & rose gold, but I loved the silver. So far they’ve proven to be nickel free too.
I’m obsessed with matching / coordinating t-shirts, especially for all of the upcoming wedding activities! I created these “Team Bride” tees for all of my bridesmaids to wear and a “Bride” tee to wear along with them. Gold vinyl always looks so beautiful on white and black!
I personalized each champagne glass using gold vinyl for the bridesmaids with a corresponding mini customized champagne bottle. For my under-aged sister, I found a sparkling apple flavored water… I hope it tastes okay LOL. Interested in customizing cups, glasses, or more? Let me know! I had so much fun creating these. The labels on the champagne bottles are printed using my HP LaserJet Pro M254dw printer, and then foiled over the proposal question using a champagne gold foil.
