If you love reading but you’re not on GoodReads yet, you should be! At the beginning of the year, I had set a goal to read 15 books before 2019 ended. On December 29th, I finished that 15th book! I’m going to be honest, I had only read ONE book between January 1st – May 30th because school and work took up most of my time. The second after I graduated on May 30th, I felt I had to catch up on all the books I wasn’t able read while in school and I was able to read all 14 between then and December 29th.
“Secrets. We think by keeping them, we’re controlling things, but all the while, they’re controlling us.” pg. 145
“The flip of a pencil. From written to erased.” pg. 207
“… a 1,257-foot bump in the ground can feel higher than a bell tower if you’re standing next to the right person.” pg. 104
“…because in this house there’s no such thing as being sick unless you can measure it with a thermometer under the tongue.” pg. 185
For the New Year, I’ve set a new goal to read 20 books in 2020. Ready to create your own 2020 challenge? Hop on GoodReads and let’s connect! Another great way to keep yourself motivated & reading this year is utilizing Book of the Month Club. Each month, choose from their selections of books and add on additional books you may be interested!
